What's the difference between Engine and Custom Build?

Engine is self-serve on shared Blackbook Engine infrastructure: $199 per seat per month, no seat minimum, live within a day. Custom Build is a dedicated instance on your own Azure subscription, wired to your CRM and outreach stack, with the agents tuned to your plays. It is typically $2,500 to $6,000 per month after a scoped build, and the exact number comes out of that scoping call.

What happened to Lite and Growth?

They are Engine. Lite and Growth are no longer sold as separate plans: everything they did now runs on one plan at $199 per seat per month, with no seat minimum. Existing Lite customers stay at their current rate until renewal. Existing Growth customers keep their Growth features through the end of the current term, and then move to Engine or Custom Build.

Is meeting intelligence included?

Yes, on Engine. Meeting summaries land in your CRM as notes, and the Engine reads them for signals, objections, and next steps, so a deal does not go quiet after the call. It is not an add-on and it is not priced per seat.

Can I pay annually?

Yes, and it is the better deal: pay for ten months, run for twelve. Engine is $1,990 per seat per year instead of $2,388. Monthly is also available. The 30-day money-back guarantee applies either way, so an annual commitment still starts with a month to change your mind.

How do intel-asset credits work?

Engine includes one Standard credit a month, and the credit pack adds three Standard credits a month for $1,200. A credit covers one asset from the Standard tier; Interactive and Custom work are quoted individually because the production differs. Credits roll into the next month if unused, and anything beyond your credits is commissioned à la carte at the published rates.

Why isn't this all self-serve?

Engine is self-serve. Custom Builds are scoped on a call because they touch your own infrastructure and existing stack. There's no one-size template for that.

What's actually included in a Custom Build?

How long does it take to get running?

Engine is live within a day. Custom Builds go live within two to four weeks of kickoff, depending on how many systems we're wiring together.

Do I still pay for my own data provider and AI usage?

Engine bundles data and AI into the seat price. Custom Build runs on your own Azure subscription, so you pay the data provider and AI usage directly. Signal collection runs on public sources: firmographic records, hiring shifts, funding rounds, tech-stack changes, and news. We do not buy personal data, and we do not hold personal contact records.

What makes one Custom Build cost more than another?

Scope: which CRM, which outreach channels, how many systems get wired together, and how the agents are tuned to your plays. It's what moves a build from the bottom of the $2,500 to $6,000 range toward the top, and it's priced after a scoping call.
