Data deletion
How to export or delete your Blackbook Engine data, and how to remove the Meta data we store.
Last updated: October 17, 2026
1. Delete your account and data
In Blackbook Engine, open Settings, then Your data. Export my data downloads a ZIP of CSV and JSON files: accounts, contacts, activities, ladder moves, intel, insider notes, drafts, sent history, campaigns, ICP, voice samples, and settings. The download link expires in 24 hours.
Delete my account and data asks you to type the company name exactly. The match is not case sensitive. A wrong or empty name is refused, and nothing is erased.
Deleting the account erases that company's data from the CRM database, file storage, caches, and search. It disconnects and revokes LinkedIn (through Unipile), Microsoft 365, and Meta, and it cancels the Stripe subscription. Stripe keeps the invoices the law requires. Blackbook Engine deletes only that company's data. A confirmation email follows.
If a trial ends without a subscription, or a subscription is cancelled, the data stays for 30 days so you can export it. Blackbook Engine sends a reminder 7 days before it is deleted. A past-due invoice is not a cancellation.
You can also email privacy@blackbookengine.com from the address on the account to request an export or a deletion.
Questions about what we collect are on the contact page, the same place named in our Privacy Policy.
2. Disconnect Meta
In Blackbook Engine, open Settings, then Ads, then Open Ads. Disconnect is in the Meta ads setup card. Blackbook Engine deletes the Meta access token right away and revokes it with Meta. Campaigns in your ad account stay yours and untouched.
Or do it in Facebook: Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations > remove “BB Engine”.
3. When you remove the app on Facebook
When you remove the app on Facebook, Meta notifies Blackbook Engine and the stored access token is cleared. You will get a confirmation code. Check the status of that request at https://ad.blackbookengine.com/api/meta/deletion/status?code=YOUR_CODE. Replace YOUR_CODE with the code you received.
4. What we delete
Disconnecting Meta, or removing the app on Facebook, deletes the access token.
The ad account and Page IDs you selected, and any cached campaign stats, are removed when the account and data are deleted. That is Settings, then Your data, or an email to privacy@blackbookengine.com from the address on the account.
Blackbook Engine does not control campaigns and ads in your Meta ad account. Those stay in your ad account until you change them there.
